HSE Day Offers Something for Everyone
Russian students and teachers were not the only ones to actively participate in HSE Day on September 9; many foreigners who study or work at the university took part as well. Numerous activities enriching the celebration could be enjoyed without any knowledge of Russian — for example, Speed Dating, Dance Battle, and a variety of sporting events. However, some sites during the festival had a special English-language programme.
Rector’s Greetings on HSE Day 2015
This year marks the fourth time we have held HSE Day, which means that an entire generation of HSE students has begun each academic year with this celebration. For them, a September focused on student life is impossible without HSE Day. We can now say that this university tradition has fully evolved.

The Higher School of Economics and the Russian hockey team Dynamo Moscow have agreed to combine forces to help students lead a healthy lifestyle and develop student sports initiatives.

'I Believe That Everything Will Work out for the Best'
International College of Economics and Finance (ICEF) MA graduate Maria Titova will this year continue her studies at the University of California, San Diego (US), where she will study for a PhD in Economics. Maria has received an offer of studying, fully funded, on 8 different PhD programmes in the United States and Great Britain, including University of Wisconsin - Madison, University of Rochester, Boston University, Boston College, Pennsylvania State University, Washington University in Saint-Louis, University College London, and the Vienna Graduate School of Economics.
An Excursion to the Sky
